# 2025 Overview

In 2025, we pushed Reteno into a new gear — super-charging messaging, widening the API’s reach, giving widgets and workflows extra brains, and weaving AI into everyday routines.

Here are the key updates:

* [March](https://docs.reteno.com/docs/whats-new-for-march-2025)

Fresh In-App formats hit the stage, Web Push gained deeper controls, segmentation got sharper, bulk tag handling arrived, ratings & social-icon widgets debuted, and an SMS-management API rounded out the release.

* [April](https://docs.reteno.com/docs/whats-new-for-april-2025)

Multilingual messages, millisecond timestamps, and richer event objects landed in the API. Widgets learned to react to cookies, local storage, and Data-Layer rules; tag management levelled up; webhooks now carry more data; and new SMS providers appeared.

* [May](https://docs.reteno.com/docs/whats-new-for-may-2025)

AI started writing mobile push copy for you. NPS and Rating widgets began firing events, workflow testing became point-and-click (with auto-tags), analytics welcomed new look-back windows, and a dedicated tab now spotlights event errors.

* [June ](https://docs.reteno.com/docs/whats-new-for-june-2025)

The whole dashboard got a facelift — cleaner navigation and a tidier color palette. App Inbox messages now self-identify via webhooks. The **Generate event** embraced flat JSON and `ISO 8601`. Workflow previews went live. Start/stop rules grew granular. Dropdown contact fields arrived. Widget display rules learned JavaScript variables.

* [July](https://docs.reteno.com/docs/whats-new-for-july-2025)

App Inbox can now flag messages as **UNDELIVERED** for instant fallback routing; every message picks up its own UTM tag for pinpoint attribution, domain APIs reveal a `siteId` so multi-store setups stay organized; the workflow canvas zooms and pans; numeric conditions in **Check values** understand between, ≥, and ≤; and widgets level-up with ten inline forms per page, gamified informers, and live JS variables in merge tags.

* [August](https://docs.reteno.com/docs/whats-new-for-august-2025)

Key updates — the **Branch** block for compact construction of complex logic and the **Streak** condition for selecting users with stable behavior — are designed to speed up the implementation of your ideas, reduce routine work, and improve interaction with the audience.

* [September](https://docs.reteno.com/docs/whats-new-for-september-2025)

September focuses on higher on-site engagement (**Slot machine** + **Teaser** in **Widgets**), branching optimization (message-activity checks + duplication in the **Branch** block), and more flexible data use right inside workflow blocks (**context**). Together, these cut setup time and sharpen targeting across channels.

* [October](https://docs.reteno.com/docs/whats-new-for-october-2025)

Inbox trust get a lift with **BIMI** logos in email; Mobile Push gains an **Analytics label**. The **Branch** block now routes **by segments** and **external-event parameters**, while a new **On day X time ago** date operator simplifies precise retargeting. **Velocity 2.4.1** streamlines personalization syntax, widgets add prize images (**Slot machine**), vertical **Teaser** editing, and **Floating box** positioning. **Webhooks** can be test-fired in edit mode — fewer surprises, cleaner launches.

* [November](https://docs.reteno.com/docs/whats-new-for-november-2025)

November levels up **Widgets** with new gamified experiences and faster QA (interactive preview, **Run the game** action, and performance-based filtering), while **Workflows** get smarter data handling (nested selectors, **Launch event** parameters, new **Check value** operators, and expanded Velocity in webhooks/custom fields). A batch of housekeeping upgrades — copyable dynamic-segment cards, removable custom domains, contact country code, and refined home-page delivery logic — keeps reporting and settings cleaner.

* [December](https://docs.reteno.com/docs/whats-new-for-december-2025)

Key updates — smarter performance optimization in **Workflows** (**One from many** now auto-removes underperforming variants), faster on-site iteration in **Widgets** (interactive preview, component navigation, and more predictable layouts), and easier segmentation via **Country code import**.
