Setting Up Conversion Tracking
Enable conversion visualization in reports to view statistics for each channel.
Enabling Conversion Display
- The first step is to set up order data transfer to the system via API resources Add orders and Generate event. You can see order information in Automation → Orders if integration is active.
- Go to your profile Settings → Conversion from campaigns and enable the Show conversation in reports option.
- Activate the Associate with the last activity switcher and select parameters for each channel:
- Attribution touch point (Opened, Sent, Clicked, Delivered);
- Attribution window (hours, days, weeks, minutes).
Different parameters can be set for each channel.
- Specify the conversion currency. Select a currency code from the list and click the Save button.
Conversion visualization will include only orders in the specified currency.
- Add message tags to exclude specific messages from the conversion calculation (technical notifications, password recovery, delivery confirmation, etc.). Data on them will be available in the report but won’t be included in the conversion calculation.
Conversion Period
You can see the total conversion for a specific period.
- Go to Automation → Orders and select period to view conversion.
- At the top of the list of orders, next to the Total status, you will see the conversion amount — the sum of -Initialized, _In progress, and Delivered statuses.
- Hover over the question icon next to the Total status. Detailed information on each status will be displayed.
Additionally, you can see the canceled order amount. This amount is not included in the total conversion.
Conversion from Campaigns in Reports
- Go to Campaigns → Reports. Select the channel, for example, Email.
Data on campaign conversion over the specified period will be given on top of the general list:
- Campaigns;
- Conversions;
- Total conversion value;
- Average conversion value.
Conversions in the table are displayed separately for each report.
- Click on the number of Conversion count to open a window with a list of contacts who made conversions.
- To export all contacts to a separate segment or file, click the Export button.
Note
Exporting data from the Сonversion count tab to a CSV file is available only to users in the role with the appropriate permission (Admin, Marketer).
Click the preview button to view the contact card.
To copy or export a report with general conversion data, click Copy or Export
None
Export is available only for a period of up to 6 months.
Conversion from the campaign is also displayed inside its report:
A conversion event is attributed to the campaign within 24 hours after the click.
Notes
- Set up order data transfer to the system via API resources Add orders and Generate event.
- The Reports tab displays only orders with the Delivered status.
- All conversions transferred to the system are connected to channels. You connect channels to conversions in Settings based on events (sent, delivered, opened, clicked) and time period.
- A conversion is always associated with the last interaction with the channel.
- Refund data isn’t included in the general statistics.
