Widgets Gamification

Widgets gamification uses gaming elements in Subscription/Request forms and Informers to increase user engagement and motivation to perform a target action.

Reteno offers eight gaming mechanics available to subscribers after providing their email addresses (or other contact information):

  1. Spin the wheel

The user spins a wheel with sectors, each corresponding to a prize or bonus, such as a discount, a gift, or bonus points.

A settings panel will appear on the right. The reward pool parameters are at the top, followed by the element's style settings.

Reward Pool

Set the rewards parameters for all gamified elements. At the top of the settings panel, you'll see the list of rewards: the chance to win (in percent), the reward name, and the discount that the user receives at the specified email address or phone number.

  • Edit the chance to win directly in the list.
  • To edit the reward name and discount code, click the pencil icon next to the reward — they open in the Edit reward window. Make the changes and click Done. To delete a reward, click the trash icon.
  • To distribute the chance to win evenly across all rewards, click Equalize above the list.
  • To add more rewards, click the Add reward button.
General settings

The reward name is any text that will appear in the widget — for example, a discount percentage (10%), a product, a certificate, bonus points, or another reward. In some widget types, you can add an image in addition to the name — the text is then displayed as a tooltip on hover over it.
